i have one of these. i got it to show some one and they backed out of it. so i have etrex 30x., 22x. and the etrex 10. , wilderness navigation. have a back up. have a good day

No. The Garmin has no basemap. If you want to navigate. Set waypoints

etrex 10 maps are very small u must download on the web every single time a part to where u going make the hike cos the space is very limited.

It has basemap. Look at specs or user manual. Clearly states worldwide basemap. No idea though why nothing is shown or you're just in an area far from sea and everything.

because the 10 doesn't have maps, the 20, 22, 30, 32 do, but not the 10
