Love Under New Management- The Miki Howard Story on TV One

The incredible life and career of singer Miki Howard is now a movie on TV One. It will debut on June 12, 2016. Adapted from Miki's incredible episode of the TV One popular series "Unsung," this film (directed by Christine Swanson) will be the first Unsung transition into a feature TV movie. The cast includes Teyonah Parris as Miki, Gary Jourdan as Augie Johnson, Daruis McCrary as Gerald Levert, Lisa Raye as Sylvia Rhone and Indira Khan as her mother Chaka Khan.

Wow... I'm excited. I met Miki years ago when she stayed at the Hotel I work at. She was one of the nicest entertainers I've met (and I have met many) I told her that "Crazy" was my favorite song of hers. She said it was one of her favorites too. I love you Miki.
