I just remembered that I was at this concert.
I think at the age of 12 I could't fully understand how good Dudamel is, what this orchestra can achieve and how good Bernsteins music is. But I remember having completely enjoyed the music and their spirit and love for what they do.

Every project he is involved with is filled with such a strong life force. This orchestra is MASSIVE!! Such amazing young musicians. Venezuela has produced some of the world’s greatest musicians in history.
This is the most Rockin version of “Mambo” I’ve ever heard and I’m 70. What a joy!

Absolutely amazing! Congratulations to Dudamel and the orchestra! This is the best version I've seen performed, for them to add so much energy by dancing around and enjoying themselves really gives it something else. It's already a hard piece to master without all the moves.
