Everyone needs to vote the Democratic ticket just to clean out the infection, cutout the necrotic, festering wound and start healing. The important rule about wound healing after you've had to have a surgeon excise out the rot is the scar tissue that closes the wound is drawn from the body's need to rebuild itself, using its own ability to form life giving tissues of blood and muscle and skin. It will be tougher, stronger than the original tissue, less flexible than the original but a visible reminder that something terrible had happened to the body right there, never forget.
