Coober Pedy - South Australia - August 2021

On this visit to Coober Pedy we stayed at the Big 4 Caravan Park in town.
We checked out most of the sights including the amazing Breakaways.
We recommend at least 3 nights here to explore this incredible little town.
Remember, Summertime temperatures here can reach a scorching 40+ degrees. The high season are the Winter months and the most comfortable time to visit.

I'm glad you filmed the Breakaways. I was there in 2009. View was stunning but I lost photos. Amazing t think there was an ocean beach there millions o years ago. Geologists theorize that inland sea flowed all the way down from north Queensland.

We have Nice memories over there, traveled Australia for a year and visited there because my wife's uncle and auntie lived there some years after WW2 nice place.

1:41 some dude swinging his kid around by the arm. Possibly tourists. I lived here and grew up here in the 90s and that. Had about 4 generations of my family there. Grand parents in the 60s all the way to nephews going on twn years old now. So many memories of community and history and alot of parties and festivals and mixed cultures who live together happy and peaceful. I can't quite put it into words what it was like. Times have really changed since the price of deisel went up 21 years ago and technology got crazy and the rise of drugs in Australia all at the same time really.

I believe it's the most beautiful place in the world. Call me crazy. The desert is pure and clean mate.
