A jury recommended the death sentence for convicted killer Donald Smith on Thursday. He killed 8-year-old Cherish Perrywinkle of Jacksonville five years ago.

Tbh he’s like 60-70 years old already ppl go on death row for at least 10 years, he’ll probably die before his execution date🤷🏾‍♂️

This may sound rude, but I think he lived long enough, age wise, which (in my opinion) may be why he didn’t have much of a reaction about it. I don’t really know.

I've gone over this guys complete criminal history and it staggers me he got to this, he should have been locked up for life and the key thrown away, the judicial system failed cherish periwinkle and the mother failed her daughter .This piece of human excrement has got it easy...he got what he desired and now he's going to get 3 meals a day and a nice cell and probably more.things then he originally had so that shows why he really doesn't care.

I can see right through him. He’s dying inside. His baseline was calm and flat, yet when the sentence was dictated, he started moving and adjusting in his chair, his breathing pattern also changed. He’s pissed and in disbelief. He will never show that to others though.
