The Challenge // EPIC: The Musical / Animatic

I loved making this one! Lights are so fun to experiment with hehe

Some scenes are inspired by @ns2dstudios , unfortunately I did not do that axe scene justice OOF.
I can't wait till Ithaca's saga! ;0 This will be completed once it releases just in case I get the wrong idea of the story and have to redo EVERY DARN DANG FRAME. I may rest with animatics for now because my wrist is catching up to me..

I love how devastated she is at the end that someone succeeded, she doesn't know that's Odysseus, she thinks she has to betray the man she loved because her impossible challenge failed, she just looks destroyed by it, wonderful

The slight waver and glow of the axes?? Phenomenal work. I also love how Odysseus just casually walks right by the struggling suitors, and snipes the arrow right through.

Seeing the official release date trailer today and this animatic have hyped me up SO MUCH!!! this song makes me tear up and it's not even officially released yet, so I can only imagine how hard I'm going to be BAWLING during the watch party!!!
