Totally agree with you about Emma and Marianne! But you must read Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie! - She is brilliant!!

Hilarious the off the cuff reference to A Series of Unfortunate Events. . . little did we know what that series would start.

This was a great tag! Get on with Americanah - you will like it. My answer for the most hyped ones that I have no interest in are *gasp* the Taylor Jenkins's books. Sorry! :)

Marianne dashwood drives me insane...I didn’t really understand Brandon’s attraction to her. She spends the whole book ignoring him, treating him like trash, saying things like “poor Brandon is too old for anyone to love him, except as a nurse.” And then at the end he...marries her? What? When he’s been building a friendship based on mutual respect and understanding with Elinore that entire time that Marianne’s been acting like a brat? I just... *shakes head* lots of people have a Marianne phase, of course, but thankfully, they grow out of it. (Which she kind of does in the novel... but not really. I wish we had seen more growth from hey character on page, personally ).

I really enjoyed this video and seeing your changing thoughts!

I hated Great Gatsby the first time I read it and now it’s one of my favourites.

I also had a strange relationship with Stardust and I’m not quite sure what my thoughts are.

I was pretty disappointed reading Stardust after watching the film, I felt like i could see what Neil Gaiman was going for with a humorous fairy tale but what I actually felt reading it was just frustrated, but then again I've been less and less into Neil Gaiman the more that I've read.

Also I know you've been getting more comfortable DNFing books that you aren't enjoying, when you do that do you keep the book or do you then get rid of it/pass it on?
