There's something beautifully funny about a god whisking you away to the sky to talk but not accounting for the insanely loud wind drowning out their voice.

I love how you treat ES lore with exactly the right amount of seriousness.

Can we just take a second to appreciate the animation of Umaril switching his sword from the right to the left hand to swipe at you from a different angle and then pass it back to his right hand? All in one fluid motion.
That is amazing.

Level 1 in everything but he's still shredded. That mer bloods working hard for our local bretonbros.

I really love the side-tangents you go on, whether it's deep Elder Scrolls lore or just a wiki page on electric eels. Excellent.

Great vid! I do wanna offer one small piece of advice in regards to the Crusader's Relics: The armor stand in the priory, where you find the cuirass, acts as a 'storage' for all of them when you aren't using the relics. It also has an unspoken (and perhaps unintended) effect of being a 'reset' of them as well: Whenever you activate the armor stand to get the items back, the game recalculates them, giving you completely repaired, recharged, and releveled items that match your level and skills, including possibly making them light armor if that is your higher skill at that point (heavy armor takes priority in a tie).

Often forget that this channel started out as a RS channel, Piety prayer joke got me.

I swear, applying level scaling to artifacts and other unique items was the single stupidest decision in all of oblivion

39:30 "He wants to come with us to Avenge his fallen knight. And who am i do deny him this honor? A bear killed him." IMMEDIATELY MOVES ON LMAO

I'd say it's more accurate to think of Mara's love as the love of a parent and Dibella's love as the love of a spouse. Both love, but two very different kinds.

About the "unfeathered" thing: According to a tale by the poet and explorer Topal the Pilot, there actually were a species of birdmen living in Cyrodiil in what is now known as the City Isle. According to the legend, when Topal and his crew arrived on the island, they learned that the birdmen could mimic the Ayleid language but did not actually understand the meaning of the words. Topal then taught them to speak, read and write Ayleid, and in exchange, the birdmen gave them the 8 isles that would later house the White-Gold Tower.

However, I don't think that the "unfeathered" title has anything to do with actual birds, but is more a synonym to "the plucked", or just a fanciful way of saying they were disgraced or quickly removed from their position of power.

15:48 I'm pretty sure you can switch the set's armor type by putting it on the armor stand in the priory to repair it. That also re-does the level scaling, so you can make the armor more powerful as you level up. You're able to use that same set of armor through the whole game if you're not the type who likes switching things out

Edit: I just checked on UESP, the armor stand won't change the armor type

Edit to the edit: TES Wiki says it does and forum users report mixed results. I don't know what's real anymore

I don't remember where I heard this, but I swear "The Unfeathered" was called that because the Aylied royal family had interbred with Meridia daedra that had luminous feathers and he was the first of his line not born with that trait of his ancestors.

40:41 Never thought I'd be sitting here watching JBN edging a zombie, but here we are.

25:38 Electric catfish actually get quite a lot of attention in Japan. Most famously, the Great Zapfish in the Splatoon series is an enormous electric catfish that generates power for the city.

What makes people think Pelinal is a cyborg from the future comes down to the way he's described in The Song of Pelinal:
* PELIN-EL [which is] "The Star-Made Knight" [and he] was arrayed in armor [from the future time].
* Beneath the Pelinal's star-armor was a chest that gaped open to show no heart, only a red rage shaped diamond-fashion, singing like a mindless dragon.
* Pelinal called out Haromir of Copper and Tea into a duel at the Tor, and ate his neck-veins while screaming praise to Reman, a name that no one knew yet.
So he basically appeared in Plate Armour at a time when nobody had figured that out yet, with a 'diamond heart that sang' (which sounds like a mechanical heart), and started screaming praise for an Emperor who hadn't been born yet.

The sheer patience JBN has to do these challenge runs is insane.

That dagger enchantment is amazing. I remember finding that and then realizing that it was better the the Razor you get from one of the other DLCs.

Also, doing all that work to be a "holy divine knight" and then calling out to Dagon at the end was hilarious.
