Neighbors From Hell | 20/20 | ABC News

Our Matt Gutman went on the trail to investigate and confront a Florida man who allegedly harassed his neighbors with eggs, rocks and fire. These neighbor are ruining their peers lives one day at time. From Deer carcasses in the yard, fires in the lawn, to SWAT teams making house calls these folks have taken bad neighbor to new heights.

This is one of those times where if the police say they can't do anything, that gives you full permission to deal with the issue yourself.

How about trespassing? Harassment? Disturbance?

How in the world can't the police help?! This is harassment, stalking, trespassing and you'd think dead animal carcasses would be some kind of destruction of property and definitely a threat. This makes zero sense. The police arrest people on the street for nothing everyday...this man is dangerous. And when it escalates to him hurting that woman, the county is going to be like "we're investing why nothing was done. Blah blah blah."

I have been selling Security Systems and Cameras for 23 years. I hear these stories all the time. My advice. Don’t talk to or confront the bully. They hate being ignored. In a note book document time and date of everything said or done. Call the police and show them your note book. The police should then talk to the bully. If problem persists keep going back to the police but remember do not talk to or confront the bully.

Wow I can really relate to these poor people. I had three Neighbors From Hell. Who lived across the street renting out part of the house and then using the garage as an office for psychotherapy. She had no waiting room so all the people ended up on my lawn or in front of my house fighting with each other because they're unstable. Then the guy next door had four dogs he let them bark non-stop couldn't even go outside to eat because the dogs were always out there barking. Had another neighbor on the other side of me with one dog. Same thing let the dog out and just let him bark all day long. Couldn't even sit in our backyard. It was a nightmare. It helped make a dent in my marriage also. I was very sick and my husband was going through his issues. I know the neighbors from hell no consideration I don't know how they could stand the constant barking. We got divorced and sold the house and said goodbye. I've never seen anything like it. The things the landlord across the street had to say to me or vile and disgusting. She said she hoped my children were born retarded. After she said that I found out that she had a daughter that was disabled. I can't even fathom the way that poor kid was probably treated. This woman was mentally ill and just horror. It's over now thank God I'm in a nice quiet neighborhood but the law protects the guilty, not the victim

I have two neighbors from hell. One finally left a couple weeks ago and I cried in relief. The other is still there. Blaring their music from trucks on the FRONT lawn every holiday and all weekend. I’m building a set of data and will sue in civil court. It is so annoying. I just want PEACE

No adult with any dignity or self-respect would _ever_ act like this. It's truly quite pathetic.
