The amount of calories you burn depends on a lot of things though. How heavy you are, how in shape are you, and other things.

Hey, just to clarify, our body is burning calories while digesting the food. For example, eating meat is not the same as eating cake with the same amount of calories. We will burn more calories while digesting it because digesting meat is harder and requires more effort. Sooo, you do not have to do all those workouts.

That is why you need to build muscle to increase your metabolism and burn more calories while going through your day and if you want abs you need to lose weight buy lifting weights and eating in a calorie deficit. Burning more calories a day than your consuming. You can do all these calculations online with a calorie calculator

Calorie burn isn’t restricted to just the workout though. You’ll still burn calories into the rest period. A good example is that drinking ring moving time, you’ll burn more calories walking than running. However, for running you will continue to burn calories well past the time the run is over.

2 steps to lose weight
Decrease intake (find a diet that works for you. If cutting out carbs or going keto works cool. If lowering your caloric intake window works for you by fasting cool. Just find what works for you)
Increase total daily energy expenditure (TDEE): this is the amount of energy your body burns throughout the day. The groups are NEAT, EAT, BMR, AND TEE, non exercise activity thermogenesis, exercies activity thermogenesis, basal metabolic rate, and thermogenesis effect of eating. Biggest group is BMR. Increase it by having more active muscle tissue, ie lifting heavy weights.
