Acceleration Due to Gravity in Minecraft (the right way!)

In this video we approximate the acceleration due to gravity in Minecraft. This is known as g in Physics. We see that our player eventually hits terminal velocity so the equation d=1/2gt^2 is not a good model to use.

In the new 1.17 snapshots, u can have resource packs to modify world-height. (More then the 256+128 blocks) It’s a bit tricky but would love to see u implement it.

I used this to make gravity in my Minecraft clone match Minecraft's. Using 9.8m/s feels like low gravity because of the voxel size

Why warped fungus and not for example dirt? Also quite interested in these fancy minecraft units of length and time, lets find the mass's one and we can get force work power etc.

Do note that Minecraft doesn't have uniform gravity; different entities fall at different speeds (and I'm not just talking about chickens 😛)
