pmac nice job i love the way it starts so nice and runs. where did you get engine, how much does it weigh, what did it cost you? I, m planning on putting one on an advanced ultralight airplane but it cant be more than 120 lbs

160? doubt it. The tires would shred. They are way too small, and the rpm's the tires would have to turn for 160 mph would be way beyond what they can handle.

Your judgment is not illogical, BUT..
Air resistance is growing in bicubic progression .. The fact that calculated in theory, in practice, is flying to the devil! The drag coefficient is still impossible to calculate theoretically without using a wind tunnel ..
this theory a long story - see above encyclopedia

Might want to get a front spoiler facing downwards to create some downforce for weight and stability at 160. Then again, 160 in a go kart?? Geez...

You idiots do realise that it would push 200 MPH on a dyno, but put it on a road which would most certainly have the slightest of debris on it, and you wouldn't even reach 90 MPH without you catapulting out, become Stephen Hawkings and most probably blowing up. It's a theoretically proven concept, although no actual being has ever been that fast in a kart like this one. I, however, would. Thing is though, you'd need to be on a airport runway which, for normal civilians, won't happen soon. How much is one of these karts anyways? I want to buy one to drive to school
