These sales are killing like the idea of having a headlamp and edc combo. I got my 1st Olight when they gave away the i3e EOS in desert tan. Now I’m hooked and have 7 and counting. I refuse to buy any other flashlight now.

The reason why the head strap is magnetic is so you can get the flashlight in the right position before you fasten the rubber strap. Not really meant to try and adjust the flashlight once the strap is in place as this will damage the rubber over time.

Why remove the clip at all? Just rotate it when you put the light into the head strap.

I have the H2R one and I love it and it has 2300 in turbo I do like the upgrade for it to automatically dim when it reflects back as being to close but I'm not going to drop another 90 bucks on the new one just for that I love mine

I think this would be a great light for use in and around a vehicle. Usb charged, magnetic, and hands free option. Mine is being shipped!

I don’t remove my clip or my lanyard it will fit on the head band just fine although it is a bit harder to aim the beam. I had watched another channel that really disliked this light and his reasoning was - he didn’t like the auto dimming he felt if he wanted it dimmed he should be able to control it himself- he went on to say what sense is a head lamp that has no hot spot for further distances - he also complained about having to keep its lens clean, if it gets dirty it can effect the auto dimmer as it might sense it is to close to something and dim down. He pretty much had nothing good to say about this light including its price. This was before I even had received one as a gift from watching his review I had myself convinced that I didn’t and would not purchase one. Aim I ever happy that I received mine as a gift because I really like everything about this light except it not having a strobe mode which I feel any light for outdoor use should have it. In my opinion there is a huge difference between 500 Lumens and its 2, 000 Lumens it really lights things up for hiking or any outside use. The person that gave this light such a poor review has done his subscribers an injustice and I am no longer a subscriber of his. If I wanted a light with a hot spot that shinned 800 meters I would have purchased another one but that distance doesn’t do anyone any good if your mainly needed a good all around head light and EDC light. The web site says "Customized", 18650. @56 and have owned many lights, "Customized" I run away from. When those 500 or so cycles finish, you are at the mercy of the vendor. Now by customized it could mean 1) At 3500 mah it could be high drain, like the Orbtronics, or 2) PCB flat top protected or 3) Truly customized in that, you are stuck with Olight for a replacement. Otherwise it looks like a good light. I bought my first Olight last week, having been a Fenix customer for many years

I have a Perun on order, but they are getting too complicated to get to the various settings. You need to have the book along know all the settiing, (tap three times and hold)
