Overnight Kayak Fishing the Brazos River - Waco, TX

I decided to try out a new spot for catfish/gar, and it didn't go quite as planned. I figured the dam upstream would be fantastic, but it was shallow and full of snags and long-nose gar. I ended up slowly moving downstream, which revealed some fantastic water for flatheads and alligator gar. Unfortunately it had been roughly 16 hours by the time I reached the good stuff, so I needed to call it quits. But I'll be back. Hope y'all enjoy the not so heavy action video!
