Xbox Series X quick resume not working on some games

The Xbox Series X and Series S quick resume feature is not working for some games.
That new function, normally, allows players to quickly and seamlessly switch between games.
Some titles work perfectly with each other, switching between games is done seamlessly.
For other Xbox series games, quick resume seems not working as usual.

Quick resume only works offline/offline games any game that's made by ea(ask you to have/make a online account) for example if your playing the game pass version(which means you have to be online to use game pass) it want work but if you have a ea game but not the game pass version and your playing it offline it will work because ea requires you to sign in on your online account(when online) not to be confused with your Microsoft/xbox account

Keep in mind you gotta have Instant On on the power options and dont quit the game while switching games.

for some reason with my Xbox series X quick resume sometimes doesn’t work so if I like quick resume a game yeah and I turn off my Xbox for a certain amount of time when I turn it back on again the game is not quick resumed but it has a quick resume feature on the thing

Didn't work for me on borderlands 3 which is updated for the series x, but it did work on crackdown 3. They need to fix this. Love how all the youtubers were showing off this feature and it's not even consistent.

it does say it doesn't work for every game, just a warning, pretty sure it works for Minecraft, definitely works for star wars battlefront 2 (2005) other than that idk, but use ur brain

This was just one of their few major selling points... and they couldn’t even have it ready. I’m not an Xbox/Microsoft fanboy.. nor am I a PS5/Sony fanboy. However, thus far..? I have to give the edge to Sony and the PS5. No launch titles for Xbox? None? Not even one?! No Halo!!! Not anything. At least PS5 had Spider-Man: Miles Morales and “Demon’s Souls” even though it was a remastering. Just very disappointed. And then I was excited to at least jump from game to game on the Xbox Series X.. but nope! Doesn’t work for the games I play. What a joke. Not a good launch. The pre-ordering was a fiasco. They knew we were in a global pandemic and people would be staying hope reading and watching videos of building the hype of these next gen consoles... and they didn’t make enough? lol cmon. Cyberpunk 2077 is the only thing I’m looking forward to. Madden 21 next gen movement looks good.. but that’s it. Just a copy and paste.. which was I guess expected. EA sucks, though lol. Cyberpunk 2077 isn’t even really next gen. It’ll look great and better on next gen on launch day... but they said the true next gen version of CP2077 isn’t coming until 2021 or 2022. Likely 2077 at the rate of delays. lol I really think it’s coming on December 10th, though. I just don’t see how they can delay it again. The marketing.. the Times Square billboards and all the money that costs. Plus it’s like 2 weeks past the time they delayed it before. It was like 25+ or so days out when they delayed it in October. It’s 13-14 days out now. So like 2 weeks. And 21 days? Why disappoint us twice and closer to the delayed launch, than just say the “first time” aka the October delay... when they could have said in October “We are delaying it until January or February or “early 2021” or Q1 2021. They wouldn’t want to say hey just 21 days and then move it again when they could have just said back in October we’re pushing it to February. So I believe it’ll come 12/10/2020.. but I’ll believe it when it’s in my hand or I am actually playing the game. lol

If I turn the Xbox off for a long time without standby the quick resume is corrupted. The wholeX box will crash. If I unplug it and restart, the quick resumes are gone and then it works. Now I play and test it on standby. It's annoying as hell, does anyone else got this problem too. Called Xbox service but only get bs advice

Mine works with ufc3 cod, and forza. But won't work on fifa or assassins creed

Lmao dude Xbox failed me the controller also has a spiked plastic edge where your palm by your thumb sits and also the aim and trigger button get stuck on the plastic if pressed outwards mannn

It works on every game except for most of the optimized Series X games.
