CORRECTIONS:
1:05:56 - Becuase they took a basic token, the lead investigator should have placed a heat token. In this case, that investigator has an effect that would force them to place 2 heat!

Excellent work, as always. Jon, I have been watching board game content for over ten years at this point. You are absolutely the best at showcasing a game. Your explanations are clear, your pace is consistent, and your content is just fun to watch. I am pleased anytime I want to know more about a game and find that you have produced a video featuring it. Thank you.

The master has hit again. The artwork/look seems a bit bland for now (not sure if they are still working on it though), but gameplay looks very nice.

That was a very thorough and clearly explained how-to-play video, thanks.
If I am reading the card correctly, I think that when you resolved the top part of the final Darkness card drawn at the end of the playthrough, you forgot to add a heat token for the lead investigator (Alana) in return for drawing a basic token. This means Alana would have had two heat tokens, and then would have taken a third heat token to benefit from the bottom part of the Darkness card.

Thank you for the video! I kind of wish some visual cues were on the board to avoid having to remember some rules points (such as +1 darkness if you reshuffle, or having to be in LA1/2 to go to the black market & having to pay heat also to do so, or having to darkness+1 or extinguish a location to reshuffle your action deck, etc). Hopefully the designers will think about these small quality-of-life improvements by the time the game gets finalised. ;)

A better version of Android the board game perhaps? Been waiting for a game like this.
From what I could gather the game can end with a different guilty suspect based on choices?

Definitely some inspiration from Android and Blade Runner I think.

I do wonder if you played Midnight Visit to the Coroner correctly. My reading of that card is that you can pay 5 credits to draw card 66, but then you still have to test Moxie or Mojo to try to draw card 61 and discard the clue (or card... I hope the prototype just hasn't finalized the wording, because there are a lot of cards that seem to be using different terms to refer to the same thing).

I really like the idea of the game but for some reason it just isn't speaking to me. Maybe it is how random and modular crimes are that make it feel like the bad parts of Arkham Horror. I just can't see it as a story, I just see random draws that will eventually lead to the end of the scenario. Maybe we get lucky and dismiss all the suspects immediately, maybe we have three long lines of enquiry. I get it, I just can't see past how gamey it all is

I was intrigued by this game but then I looked at the creators previous projects and that raised some red flags for me. They only did one game (undelivered so far, no pledge manager yet) before and two Chucky dolls.

Agh, I really really want to like this game, but many of the mechanics seem really "annoying". It was very entertaining to watch played though, but especially with the price, I can't justify it.
