I have this monitor and I can tell 0 difference between 144hz and 240hz because the free sync makes it feel like 240. It's amazing.

What you can do is put the games that have black bars into Windowed and move it to one side and then add an extra window or two. like chat or somethin.

It's not an IPS but VA panel. so the difference is huge depending of what will you do with it.
