An early 2000s ad for the Singers and Songwriters Collection by Time-Life. The 19-volume series of CDs and cassettes highlighted the singer-songwriter era of the '70s, including dozens of artists such as Chicago, Linda Ronstadt, Player, and many more. The collection could be purchased as an ongoing subscription, or all at once.

What?! I had no idea "Gold" was on the "1978-1979" edition; I heard that song for the first time in a Walmart last year and was immediately hooked, not only by Ms. Stevie Nicks' very distinctive backup vocals, but the sound, which perfectly captures Fleetwood Mac's classic sound, particularly a Lindsey-influenced guitar solo from John Stewart himself. And "Sentimental Lady" is on here, too, "Baby Come Back", even "Werewolves of London", which may seem out of place, given that it's a novelty song, but it still gets radio airplay and streamed today, especially with Halloween coming in a few weeks!
