The only thing I can say is that this is simply amazing. The transition between the sketches and the actual machine at 0:27 is a really creative decision, and the scene with the opening of the portal actually felt like real footage. I noticed you've begun to use original voices, sound design just puts you right there into the scene. 10/10

For more context, Aster Industries tried to make a small portal to transport stuff, But it only temporarily worked, Before 2:18 you can see the environment past the portal was diffrent, It had white concrete walls, a Window, You could even see another hazmat guy, But then after 2:18 it malfunctioned and instead opened the backrooms.

Its cool, the treshold looks really good... but no sane person would be standing there while the portal is being opened, and also people would probably not just walk in seconds after it was discovered without knowing anything about it

Imagine all the archived footage that actually exists just like this from DoD/DoE and other black projects, stored away in underground military facilities, involving human and non human exotic science and tech, similar to Bob Lazars S4. This looks legitimate, and could be applied beyond Back Rooms. Lots of potential. Awesome work 👍

Quantum tunneling is so friggin strange. It is pretty much teleportation, to use quantum tunneling to make a permeant tear in space time seems like an extremely terrible idea, you don't know where it ends up. I don't care how advanced you machinery is, open a portal to the wrong place you could potentially implode our atmosphere.

The blue screen that appears says what I think is, “where we the first?” Referring to if they where the first country to discover the backrooms. Also At 2:37 it appears he says “ it appears to be an office building but with no furniture and everything.”

5:13 realism! ;o) That looks like the tripod mount type you'd see in news studio, but the '80s vhs cams were smaller-even so, you usually used tripod with it.
