Hello world, how are you?

In today’s video we will be unboxing the new RG351P from Anbernic, it’s been a trusted company making handhelds for emulation and the RG350 was a true legend in the community....I have been so excited to test this little beauty out. My first impression is a good one actually, I was a bit worried as the first videos I seen of this device was not good I felt my dreams had ended lol but thankfully it’s not that bad.

What do you think of the RG351P?

I am hoping the os can be swapped out to see if we can get better performance, I have seen a few videos of a new os and performance has been improved on Dreamcast and PSP so that also great news.

I will see if I can use the 128gb arcade punks os on it and the MIB custom build too and test the new Emuelec and Batocera plus retro arena...fingers crossed they work too!

I also got N64 looking nice and sharp by tweaking the settings and I think some people don’t know how to change emulators on this too with some videos I have see running with bad performance....in the next video I will show how to change settings and emulators..it’s easy but if you don’t know it’s a pain lol

I've had mine about two months and I absolutely love it it's a very comfortable handheld and it's just so freaking awesome to play my old PS1 games on the go or at home when I don't feel like hooking up the consoles and having the Purple one playing my Pokemon and other Gameboy family of games is super nostalgic for me it's cheaper than trying to get a actual GBA these days I love this guy.

Awesome upload 👍🏾. I agree with you in regard to them missing the mark a little on this particular device along with the marketing strategy. That being said, still feels great👍🏾

Great job!! I have got into handhelds about 6 months ago. My son got me into it by showing me a video on the Odroid Advance, I ordered one right away for $65 but was put on a waiting list that took around 4 months to get it, but when I did I was lucky because they had upgraded the system with an L2 & R2 and built in WiFi called the Odriod Advance V2 BE. during my 4 months of waiting on my 1st handheld to show up and watching many videos I kind of went on a spending spree!! The first one I got was the Q400 for $90 which looked great, had HDMI out and 4 USB's on the bottoms so you could have 4 people playing on your big screen from it, by the time it showed up a month later I knew from reviews that it wasn't up to what it had been sold as by not being able to play N64 at all and PS1 was hit and miss. Next while still waiting for my Odriod Advance to show up I ordered a closed out Pocket Go with a small 2.5 screen for $23 and a RG350P for $80 on the same order. Next with in days of that order everyone went crazy over the Retroid Pocket V2, so I hurried up and ordered one of those for $80, with it being my 5th handheld and still only having the Q400 in hand. Then about a month later my 4 handhelds all showed up with in days of each other making my wife not so happy with me! I really like the RG350P with it having both thumb sticks being on the lower half, but I wish I hadn't got that one because they have now come out with the RG351 and put the same stronger CPU in it as the Odriod Advance and also because the Retroid Pocket V2 is just so AWSOME and play everything the RG350P can and so much more like, the Dream Cast, DS & the PSP. Sorry that my comment went way long!! Just wanted to let know that I like the stuff your putting out and that your quality and content are very high!!! Keep up the good work.

Doesn't look bad, but there are so many handhelds that perform about the same, thinking about a RP2 still, good price performance, maybe the android upgrade will help get a little more out of it. But yet another device that is worth a look. Great vid, love your content.

Wow! That screen looks pretty good, even from your recording played back on my phone! Did I hear you right, it had rumble too? If they would have released this before the retroid pocket V2, they might have had a better chance staying in top. Tough call between the two, based on what I have seen.

I think one direction of evolution for these handhelds is reduction of bezels and wasted space around the screen. With a 3.5" 3:2 screen the RG351 is a bit too large, the RGB10 managed to cut 1 cm maintaining the same screen size. Maybe at the expense of build quality though

Awesome bud! I ended up cancelling my initial order after being told WiFi and other stuff wasn't working and they are working on a fix.

My RG351P arrived today and mine is the purple one too. No WiFi dongle for me, but I can buy one.
I wasn't expecting it until early November.😁
I still have no idea when my Retroid Pocket 2 will arrive.

I installed Batocera 5.27 on my RGB10, so I might try installing it on the RG351P as well.

Does your thumb hurts from the dpad? Is the dpad comfortable using ??

Im on the line and could go either way on this one. It's attractive in it's looks and hardware but I still don't know if it is worth the price..

I hate it when the names of the games are to long so many words get cut off.
So its either shorten the name or leave it. For neogeo, mame etc you cant actually change the rom names themselves or they wont work but if its using a front end you should be able to change the game names there, not the actual rom names, but the game names theyre linked too.

Or, if the names are long it should scroll the text when you highlight each game so you can see it all that way at least.

But anyway, yeah its nice and all but give us a 7" version right.. 😁

The vertical pixels are half pixels sadly I don't know if they shipped mine with a Wi-Fi dongle.

Great review! Could be great with bigger screen and HDMI out - my retro eyes aren't as good as they used to be!

This is a faster device than a 350m, but is that only really because its running at half the res almost?, can you run the 350m at 320x480?
