Vicks plant and Cuban orégano isn't the same and isn't used the same way. Vicks plant is medical and Cuban orégano is used for cooking. They don't even look the same. Cuban orégano has large flat rectangular leaves, vicks plant has small almost circle leaves that are thick. Vicks plant smells like vicks and mint. Cuban oregano smells like orégano, thyme with a dash of mint.
