I've had a form 2 for about 12 years now. It now needs a new laser and formlabs doesn't offer them anymore. But, It had a good run, with very little issues.

I have a Form 4, and with all the printers I have, when I need prints with higher performance resins, and don't wanna make a mess in the post print process, it is a go to. Now, I totally agree that it is probably too much for a hobbyist (unless you just have the money), but if you are a hobbyist that makes mechanical parts, or say, toys that have articulation and you want to make durable items, the materials Formlabs has are on a whole new level. Their Tough 2000 is just as good as ABS itself, and their Tough 1500 has a superior strong and flexible property that is simply amazing.

Awesome content! So glad I came across this channel. Immediately subscribed. Really looking forward to the comparison video. I am really stuck in deciding between Form 4 and Reflex for print quality (minimum support marks) and dimensional accuracy.

Thanks for this video on Pro-Grade resin printer. Resin is not my scene, but I am not the target audiuce for this product. It is still interesting to see what is available with this technology.

22:13 came here to dip my head in to the world of SLA (coming from FDM) and I’m very pleasantly surprised to see your stargate.

Really enjoyed this! I saw it pop up but avoided it until I'd done my own review. I'm gonna have more of a play with miniatures as I was unable to get them as smooth as other machines using precision model and tough 1500. One of my commenters swears by another resin and a 0.025 profile. But I'm still thinking I can get smoother prints using consumer printers. Will see where it goes. I can totally understand this is for businesses makinga ccurate functional parts as you said, it's not for home use. But i wonder, for bbusiness who make miniatures for example, can this give us better results off the printer, than consumer machines?

Most def looking forward to see how this stacks up to the Reflex RS. Does Heygears have resins in their proprietary inventory that match what formlabs has?

Awesome video! Form4 looks super tempting, but it’s just so expensive! Really curious can the Heygears RS be a budget-friendly alternative for prototyping?

If formlabs or any other company wants to make users, use their proprietary resins then they better lower the prices of those resins. The machines are already avery expensive. Make the resins more accessible and everyone will be happy

I wonder how well the resin works in other printers. Buying into a closed system is just not worth it

Potential customers must be noted just from begining thats printer can print ONLY with materials from Formlabs and to print with third-party materials you need to buy "Open Material Mode" which costs around 3k$. no-no-no, not for printer itself.. just to "allowing" customers, who already buy REALLY EXPENSIVE printer to print with third-party resins. I'm right now in the way of choosing my first SLA printer (for professional usage) and such disrespect to their current customers was huge "NO" for me
