What happened to the new hinge since 2014? 😒 I was planning to buy a second piano hinge unit, but since this video came out they have resorted away from the piano hinge again, to a crappy hinge that everyone is having trouble with.

how do these new m processors compare to say a surface pro 3 i5 processor? I'm assuming a bit weaker.. also I wonder what type of integrated graphics power they have. Also similar to surface pro 3?

#1: USB power port?! yep but it is USB 2.0. 
#2: No more Blue for USB 3.0.  Note all the logos on it are USB SS = USB 3.0.  But they are not blue. The other side is a charging powered battery usb port.
