Your vlogs and what I eat in a weeks really just make me feel good. There’s something so wholesome about them. Oftentimes I find it hard to watch other people vlog about what they are eating but you talk about it/show it so nonchalantly that it’s like yeah it doesn’t have to be a big deal. Hi Lindsay, I love your videos a lot but I’d like to (respectfully) encourage you to reflect on your consumer habits. I’m very happy to see that you invest in sustainable products and buy a lot of second hand items. Unfortunately there still is a big impact of buying even sustainable clothes because if we consume so much we are still contributing to a very big ecological footprint! If this interests you I’d suggest reading the book ‘Fast fashion, fashion brands and sustainable consumption’ by S. Muthu :)

Hey, for people thinking about buying from free people, remember that just because you can sort by "sustainable", that doesn't mean the brand is sustainable. You are still supporting a fast fashion brand. Buying clothes made with organic cotton for instance is obviously a better alternative, but it's not going to be sustainable until the brand advocates for buying less, and releases fewer collections of clothing throughout the year.
