Can you aim the face where you want the ball to finish and aim body where you want the ball to start?

I completely missed the value of this tip. If you have the same swing path, face path, and ball position to your stance, and then up to the left or right, the ball will start in the direction you're lined up to and will move the same in either case. For you to hit the fade something else changed compared to your normal draw other than your feet and body direction. Do you address the ball slightly forward in your stance for the fade while keeping your same swing and face path?
