Hi Treflyn, thanks so much, I purchased one of these great little pedals and it works exactly as you described with my Boss VE-2 Harmonizer. It also works with my Donner Circle Looper, it will allow me flip forwards and backwards through any loops I have recorded.

I found this very helpful as I needed a pedal to change programs on the fly.

For me as a blind person, this isn't useful as if I play live with this unit, I can just remember this does this and that does that. So, not a deal breakor. Still a cool video. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Thanks for the video. I wonder if the Boss FS 6 has the same way of use, I mean if the Beatloop for not being a Boss one has that several steps to make it work as you have explained.

hi, i need your help .. i would like to buy this product, but tell me how to connect it to the sound card .. basically i use cubase and record a number of different tracks between bass and guitars .. then i add the voice and bring the cable of the microphone directly to the sound card .. buying this of the boss, I have to bring the microphone cable to mic IN and with another xlr cable, exit from xlr out and bring the other end into the sound card?

Thanks treffyn. The scrolling confused me. Thanks. I’d love to find a way of that not happening - ie manually pressing to get the memory. In the heat of live work that would be better. Any ideas anyone please?

hi nice explanation...when you press the "M" button, on the beatloop pedal, the lights start to scroll and the 'blue' light comes on as well on the Boss, meaning the harmony is on...now, is there a way to turn off harmony 'blue' light using the beatloop pedal? or the only way is using the boss pedal?

Is there a way to control this with a drum trigger pad to simply turn the harmony off and on? I'm a standup drummer and need to use a stick hit to control this.

Is there any way to toggle between 2 memory settings rather than scrolling through all 3?

Did you have to do any modification to the footswitch to make it work?

A bit easy to miss the markings of the M & V on the switch you bought - too fast and no explanation when you show it ... should have shown both while you're explaining the use of the extra switch....

Your first mistake is saying the Beatloop is exactly the same as the FS-6. It operates the opposite as the FS-6 would be set for in this context therefore everything else explained here about using the memory button is wrong. Your Beatloop cycles on its own because you have a latch footswitch when it should be momentary. Pressing the V footswitch to stop the cycle is a workaround but it's not how it should work. Get the proper pedal and remake this video for the sake of anyone watching this.

Please master the stuff first only after you post a video to explain. You flew rapidly over the HArmony part.
