Once again you guys have knocked it out of the park with another fascinating video! I had no idea that apocrine sweat was a vector for pheromones but I guess that explains why those glands only become active during puberty instead of from birth.

This is great information that my doctors can't answer for my concerns of hyperhydrosis. Sometimes I ask myself why bother showering, washing my hair and getting dressed if I'm just going to be wet again, ugh. I start dripping when I bend over to tie my sneaker laces. Thanks for advising when I may need to replenish my electrolytes, never thought of that b4.

on a parallel note, watching through the IHA channel has helped me be more grounded in my body. + also less afraid/paranoid because i now understand what keeps my body going, and how awesome it is for being such a complex organism, and what's a good, logical baseline reality of being a person vs what isn't. so IHA has given me the words and ways to take are of myself better, and i am many many thanks for that ;_;

Also I find it very interesting when a woman has a baby her “BO” odor increases especially in the armpit area, this helps the baby know the mother’s natural smell and during breastfeeding, it helps the baby know more of where the nipple is. I think that is so amazing!

I have ectodermal dysplasia. Even with the most vigorous activity, I'm usually dry like powder. Trust me when I say sweating for you normal people is a luxury.

I have hyperhidrosis, this was fascinating! I rely on special antiperspirants to control most areas but I can't address the face or scalp which becomes most visible to others. I also have nervous sweating so that's fun 🙄

9:00 Also in a hot arid climate where the humidity is less than 10% your sweat evaporates SO quickly that it does very little to help cool you.

So I’ve always heard people say you’re sweating more cos I’m unfit 😮and I’m like wtf I work hard 😅but seeing this makes me feel better as it’s because I’m fitter I sweat 😅 more 💪💪👍👍

I just sweat a lot. My feet and hands have two modes, cold, or sweaty, and sometimes both. But I suppose that's because I have a form of dysautonomia where my heart rate and temperature regulation don't work as they should.

P.s muscle cramps are often caused due to the formation and accumulation of lactic acid in the muscles due to low intake of O2 while exercising, or maybe running a marathon.
