This video is deticated to AC/DC's guitarist Malcolm Young, who passed away this week. May he rock in peace.

Am I coming back to youtube? Short answer: NO. I'm tired, sick and generally pissed off. So no, don't get your hopes up.

There is no doubt who the greatest rock and roll singer was from 1974 to 1980 was, and nobody whose come along since can touch him. Bon Scott. I'm not talking lead vocalist, I'm not talking front man, I'm talking Rock and Roll singer. There have been only two in the entire history of Rock and Roll that can even be counted. Jagger and Bon. That's it. They put it all on the line every time they stepped on stage. Bon never gave a bad or mediocre performance. He just never did. I saw them at The Old Waldorf in '76. I think this was from that show. They killed the audience. When people were walking out it looked like people must have looked in 1916 in France. Shell shocked....

This version is so vicious, it kicks arse. True AC/DC right here.
RIP Malcolm

Malcolm playing a telecaster. Proves my point, you can play any type of music you want to play on a telecaster. The one and only “work horse” guitar!

Powerage is one of the most underrated albums in Rock’n’Roll history

Pure class. Love how it developed for the album. This is great but the album version is just sublime.

It's hard to get my head around the fact
..that Malcolm is not there. But my love of this band is so great
it's only comfort is knowing that he did start this band saw it through its.... hard times right up to his... hard time.... only to leave at a time when it would be hard for us as fans so Malcom... this fan truly does hurt for your passing... as a true fan I salute you
miss you and promise
TO NEVER FORGET THAT YOU ARE.AC/DC

Great version and it's great to hear an early incantation of the song.

So weird to hear this version after knowing the album version for so long. The lyrics are so much darker. Fuck me, AC/DC lyrics in the Bon era were really morbid and people don't usually realise it. Best fucking rock n roll band to walk the earth, long live AC/DC.

everyone take a good listen to that introduction. they let those chords ring, and Phil crashes each time, but Cliff starts out plucking a few eighths, like he thought the song was going right there. to me, and know these guys, it seemed very trial, very un-planned. that being said, look how SHARP, and PRECISE Phil and CLiff were, and how they knew what The Youngs, mainly Angus, was doing, probably running around, hand up. they knew how those guys work, and how they all work as a band, and they're so in-tune to each others' cues, and feels, and fills. It's remarkable how that blood-infused chemistry effects the music, and the immense positive effect it has on Acca Dacca's music. Rock on
