The first Montrose album never got the recognition it truly deserved. Truly a rock masterpiece . One of my favorites to this day

I met Sammy at his book signing in 2011 and told him that the first Montrose album got me through high school. He laughed and said, me too!!

I was 8 yrs old in 1974. Became a Sammy Hagar fan in the mid 80's and now I'm 57 in the year 2023 and Sammy is still rockin' it. 😊

Everybody should be required to listen to MONTROSE ar least once ...mandatory!

Everybody discusses how influential Montrose was, but few mention how critical Bill Church's hyper Bass playing and Denny Carmassi's aggressive drumming were to the sound of this band. They were the reason one guitar was "enough" in this band.

Every time I start to hate the internet, I stumble upon a gem like this.🤯

I met Sammy back in 1990 in Malibu where I was working as a chef, I made him lunch and told him how much I loved this album, his response word for word was, " THAT'S THE BEST ALBUM I'VE EVER DONE OR EVER WILL DO !!!! "

Ronnie Montrose, one of the most underrated guitarist of the 70s, as well as Robin Trower.

The first Montrose album is one of those few perfect albums, from start to finish

The ‘70s were the best. Great time to be a teen in high school. Awesome music. I have Montrose first album, a pre-release, not for sale demo for radio station promotional. Kicks ass.

Sammy has really done it all. Montrose, a badass solo career, Van Halen etc. he’s took great care of himself and looks great now at 71! He’s a true rockstar

I first heard Montrose when I was 17 years old at friends place. He just bought the album on a chance the music would be good. There was about 5 of us & we were knocked on asses by the music. I don't remember how many times we listened to that album that day but it was alot. Safe to say we were & still are huge Montrose fans. Unfortunate he was such an underated guitar musician along with Robin Trower. Execellence is to be savored.
