Sus habitantes son considerados "nacionales estadounidenses" pero no tienen los mismos derechos que los ciudadanos estadounidenses de pleno derecho... Es otra forma de decir que en Estados Unidos se les considera ciudadanos de segunda... Horrible.

Le atinaste A casi todo, pues los Estados Unidos invadieron a Puerto Rico en 1898, le dieron la ciudadanía a todos los puertorriqueños en 1917 para motivarlos a ser parte del la PRIMERA GUERRA MUNDIAL (PGM), 1952 se declaró Puerto Rico como un Estado Libre Asociado (ELA).
