Spotify & Apple Sign-In FINALLY WORK in Aria (My Mobile App Development Journey) | Short Dev Log #2

Way back in April, I began implementing Sign-In With Apple for my startup called Aria.

(Turns out it was hard).

For those who don’t know, Aria is a music platform I am working on creating with Flutter and Firebase.

After giving Apple $100 to use their services, and waiting 48 hours for them to verify my account, I quickly realized Apple made the system very confusing. After many hours of development, planning, and frustration, I realized trying to connect this new authentication method into my existing system would be difficult. So, I deleted everything. Well, not everything. I kept the bare minimum dealing with Spotify authentication and routing. After a few more days passed, Apple and Spotify sign-in both work with Firebase. Now, looking at the app, you are directed to the home screen after using either method.
