I had to decide between this and the Instinct X2. I choose the Instinct X2. It was tough decision, as it came down to a few small factors I.e., Training Readiness, flashlight and ruggedness. The new Sensor in the Venu 3 was also appealing, but you can’t have it all!

I know the notifications ends up on the watch, but what I don't understand is why no single creator on YouTube are showing this. This watch is a daily smartwatch combined with sports and health. I would really like to know what a notification from Facebook, Outlook, Whatsapp as example, looks like on the watch. Will I then see the notification logo and how will it work? Does the message disappears or remains on the homescreen, do i have to go to the menu specifically to read the messages. So little information is given about this that I still hesitate to buy this watch.

Venu 3 or FR 965?
For an intense 5 days a week, gym training & HIIT,
3 to 4 days a week cycling or swimming,
and some cardio.

Helpful review thanks for posting 👍 I’m trying to hold out for the uk approval for ecg then I’ll get the venue 3 (currently have venue 2) just for the additional stats. I’m new to gym and training (63 yrs old!) and find the stats interesting but I’m not sure how much longer I can wait for Garmin to get approval with so many others already offering it - that said important to me is battery life and Garmin are excellent with that also their App is really good so lots to consider. Thanks again 👍

Forerunner 955 vs venu 3 both the same price right now what one would you go with?? The 32gb storage on the 955 has me stuck on a decision

Just got my venu 3 in white, the auto detection in the gym is so bad ! Also when u are resting not sleeping, it recored you as sleeping ? Comparing to pixel Watch which one do u prefer ?

Did the elevated sensor dig into your skin at all? I had to return a venu because if that issue and I am not sure if it was some faulty device or what? I wasn’t wearing it tight.
