the 80s were the BEST. Period. I wish I could re live the decade and loop it over and over again, like Groundhog Day. Nothing will ever be that good again.

82 doesn’t seem so long ago. 41 years ago. Such better times living in the 80s . God i wish we can relive our lives. Just do some things much differently. I miss the 80s styles, music, how 80s music changed a lot in music. Thank you Madonna. And all the great times I had so much fun with my friends and family. Quaterflash was such a great band

There are certain 80’s songs that give me an overwhelmingly painful and bittersweet sense of nostalgia. This is definitely one of them.

Does anyone else think this is a killer song? I love the beat and her vocal stylings. It will be sampled one day, I'm sure. It just gives that certain something... it won't go unnoticed - it was ahead of its time.

This band was so underrated but not those of us who loved them.

This song really does feel like cruising the early 80s city at night.

How cool is that when your lead singer plays sax too.

Quarterflash were ahead of their time, so amazingly talented. Radio didn't know what to do with them. Were they AOR? New Wave? Between the ice cool keyboards, sax and bluesy guitar solos they were just awesome.

I love this lady and her voice is flawless also, and to top it off she plays the sax to perfection.

Thank you Brandon for these excellent, treasured videos! Very talented musicians in QuarterFlash. Orinda (Rindy) is an amazing Singer with feeling & emotions in all of the lyrics. And her husband Marv great guitar player, song writer, and mixer\producer. I know they went on to wonderful career's. Orinda a Master's in metal health. Working to help society. Marv a Producer\Playwrite. Portland Trailblazer's. The Oregon Trail songs. Still performing and writing as QuarterFlash and another band. How talented are they. And to maintain a Loving Marriage having met in highschool. Over 40 years of marriage. You can see all their photos and hear from their interviews how much Love & respect they had for each other. Though overall their body of work was large. It was to short with QuarterFlash in the limelight. I wish they would of had more support from their record labals after their 3rd album. I think with the right producer & support they would have put out many more Hits. But the ones we have to listen to are Wonderful. Having lived in Portland during their Seafood Mama's days I can tell you they were Fantastic in the 70s. Especially the clubs in Portland & Seattle. I was a young man of 20 and having moved from the Northeast. Portland was a Meca of musicians. There were so many clubs for music and dancing that it was a wonderful time to be young. I will always be grateful to Orinda & Marv for all the wonderful memories from that magical time. A Die-hard supporter of QuarterFlash!

Classy song for an excellent, overlooked comedy by Ron Howard, with Henry Winkler, Shelley Long, and a hilarious Michael Keaton, who hit it out of the park in his rookie debut.

This is the very reason I refuse to let others control my perspective:the music industry UNJUSTLY promoted "QUARTERFLASH"through playing only one of this band's many melodic groves. To my amazement, this lead singer not only displayed an incredible voice...but highlighted the melody with a saxophone.

Brings back all the great memories of the 80s. Me and my homeboys went to see this at the Huntrige theatre in Las Vegas. We were all so young and so glad to be friends. We did everything together. Some of the best memories of my life were with my homeboys in high school at Eldorado High School.
