One of my favourites by Tina - so intense! In a way, this song epitomized Tina....a fighter who really didn't want to fight, but she had to...and she was a survivor, becoming One of the Living Icons of music whose legacy will live on as long as people have ears to listen. Rest in eternal peace and love Anna Mae Bullock....Tina Turner!❤

This is one of my favorite Tina songs. So powerful. Yes it’s from Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome. But don’t the words resonate to the battles of today? “Don’t want to fight, but sometimes you gotta”. Brilliant track. I miss Tina so much. I feel her spirit in the music she left us and the kindness and grace she showed while she was still among us on Earth. A true survivor. A musical legend and pioneer. A kindred spirit. Tina, I hope you are resting well in eternity now that your work is done here. You are one of our angels now. I love you so much. Namaste. 🙏🏼

So much to love about this song, Tina, and this video. I always loved the haystack hairstyle, the great guitar miming, the constant camera movement, and her unbelievably hunky sax player! Not to mention Tina's shredding this fantastic song. No wonder she was one of a kind. Thank you, Tina, for such a life well lived. You came through the fire so much more than alive. You became a reborn icon that women can aspire to. No matter how bad your situation, you can get through it and come out the other side as "One of the Living". God Bless you, Tina. Heaven is so much richer now.
