Signatera - A New Blood Test to Detect Cancer

An Easy Test to Catch CANCER SOONER!

Have you heard of a circulating tumor DNA test?
Also called ctDNA (or under the brand name Signatara)

This test is starting to show some really positive results in terms of catching cancer RECURRENCE - earlier.

It works by taking a simple blood draw and look for very small, fragmented pieces of your tumor's DNA. If a level comes back elevated - then it is more likely that there is cancer somewhere in your body. But if a level comes back at zero then there is no evidence that the tumor is back.

But here is the struggle with this type of test.

Because it's so new - we don't really know what to do with positive results? Do you start treatment again? If so - what type of treatment?
