This is also my first attempt to making my own fake-scenes, and i failed so bad with some of them, HAHAHAHA XD
Anyways, as you may see, this aint a typical christmas video, and it's not really ment to be a christmas vid either xD I started this project like, a couple of months ago when my deaarrr friend and senpai
Anna aka Lucariochu was in the making of a crossover vid. Pretty much at the same time i saw OhBirdsproductions Sousuke x Rin video with this song and i was like "OMG I NEED TO MAKE SOMETHING WITH THIS BGSHDGJKLSDBNGJLSD" xD
For a while i've wanted to edit another video with Rin and Rei (since they're like one of mah otps, dont know why xD) and decided to go with that pairing + this song. AND HERE WE ARE, 2 MONTHS LATER xD

I had SO.MANY.PROBLEMS while trying to add a colouring to this, dear god. Since i wanted to render it in 1080p i couldnt use .wmv, but when i renderd it in .mp4, alot of contrasts n shit was added for some reason.
So yeah, sorry the colouring being off at some places ._.
Enough of me complaing, moving on to the story (omg yes i acctually have a pretty legit story for this):

Rin and Rei is together, but as you see in the first seconds of the vid, they had a fight. The whole thing ends with Rei crying and walking away from Rin. Both of the guys later on the evening/night looks at some old photos of them together and Rin realizes he has to talk to Rei and apologize. He calls Rei and they meet up. Rin tells Rei that he's sorry and didnt ment whatever he said before. Rei forgives him and they walks home together (to Rin's place).

Rin is happy about him and Rei solving the problem and whatever and doesnt think that much about it. Rei on the other hand is botherd my something (okay i didnt figure out what he should be bothered about, eh.. im a bad person) and decides to go outside and swim for a while. Though, a storm comes closer and Rei get's trouble with keeping himself above the surface. Since Rei's not the best swimmer in the world and as the storm becomes stronger he just cant keep it up anymore.
Rin wakes up in the middle of the night, noticing that Rei's not beside him anymore. He doesnt over think it tho, since they had a fight earlier, maybe Rei just went home?

The next day, Rin runs along the beach when he spots something - Rei. Rei's lying on the beach with wounds all over him and with a pale look on his face. Rin cals the ambulance (i didnt include this part in the video cuz, yeah, didnt have any ideas/material for fake scenes) and Rei was declared dead. The day when the funeral is held, Rin thinks back at all their happy times before he goes up to Rei's grave.

The rest of the video is about Rin and his struggle with continue his life as before, without his beloved Rei. He tries to enjoy himself (going to festivals etc) but everywhere he looks, he sees Rei's face.
He tries to go back to swimming, but all he thinks about is Rei and that he's not with him anymore, and so on.

Rin goes to a memorial for Rei and while dressing, for the first time since Rei's death, he thinks about what Rei would have wanted him to do and realizes that being depressed n shit doesnt help anyone.
After the memorial, Rin walks up to Rei's grave. He stands there and promises that he's going to keep on living on his own and that they'll meet again someday.

THIS IS WHAT MADE ME SHIP IT!!
So I don't want to be annoying or anything but this song just really reminds me of my best friend. We watched this together and then I found out I was moving 3 states away from him at the end of our school year in 3 months. After watching this the song comes on all the time and I almost cry, and I've actually cried a few times, because it reminds me so much of my time with him. I connect with the lyrics a lot to because I always keep a photo of him in my school binder for all my classes. We were only friends for about a year but he became my best friend in that short time. Anyway that's what this AMV is to me, it means a lot. But everyone ships ReiGisa anyway.

I have watched this video so many times and to this day it remains one of the best edited videos I've ever seen. I get chills everytime and I never shipped them until I watch the video. It's so well done and I can tell it took a long time. Applause to the creator. Well done.

I may be a little late for the party (since this video was posted two freaking years ago) but I am dead in love with this video! How you managed to make some scenes look like they were one is really seamless (it was so good that my twin, who also ships RinRei, asked me: "Since when did Rin and Rei share a bed?"). Even the placing of the pictures in all those picture frames, and photos, and a piece of paper(? I think?) was spot-on! This AMV deserves all the love in the world.

Quick question though: Why does Rei have to die? :C And another question, what Rin says are not actually what you made them seem to be, am I right? (some of it may be right though, while the rest are used for plot and mood and whatnot) (the advantages/disadvantages of knowing a little Japanese whoo)

Thanks for making an AMV of my favourite couple! I honestly ship them so BAAAD and they have such a good relationship especially throughout the second season and OVA. Unf, I came back to watch this again because it's one of the few youtube videos out there of rei/rin.
