It def wasn’t a mistake. They wanted influencers to make videos about the empty PR boxes making a chain reaction of videos I’ve influencers talking about the brand

It would have been so great if the theme had been something like: "Suspicious" and it was based around the most common shades worn by Hollywood starlettes who died too soon. Then the lipsticks show up in evidence bags? Iconic.

Definitely not a mistake, I mean like how are you going to forget to package lipstick in over 100 or boxes if the whole box is meant for lipsticks. Also they included the lip liners so definitely not a mistake. But I do agree it's a waste and it would just end up in a landfill.
