The Killing Moon is without question my favorite song ever. There will never be a better version than the original. But there are a couple of covers that are really good. This is one of them. Lauren just puts something amazing into it. And it has a slightly different atmosphere than the original, while staying true to it. Love it. The other cover I like is Grant-Lee Phillips' version. It has a whole different vibe, but I think it works.

An amazing year. Robert Smith, Echo and the Bunnymen, Screen Violence and now Cry Little Sister from The Lost Boys (mastering into Dark, goth, New Wave, danceable synth pop). ¿Fantastic in´s it? They carry Eno, Moroder, Bowie, Kraftwerk, Bauhaus, The Cure... the past on their shoulders.

guess Lauren and Chvrches are on the same wavelength as me . Cause I just saw the new season of Van Helsing and the Killing Moon was used in the show. So I looked it up and found that it was by Echo and the Bunnymen, a song I had heard years ago when it first came out . too cool glad that Chvrches likes this song too .

So good. Would love to see them cover Zombie by the Cranberries too. Every cover I've seen of them has been amazing, and I bet they would do an amazing job on that one too.
