Dude ! You got it locked down. I have tried many tips and tricks but not much changes; And then I try yours and my complex rendering project on AE drops from 11hours to less than 2hours and I don't even have an Nvidia GPU on my machine. Another thing that increased speed for me for preview and rendering was to have project files, after effects app and cash being designated in 3 different ssd hard drives

any tips for rendering longer after effects projects? like 10 minutes long? i dont have too much stuff going on in my comp, and its taking tens of hours to render forcing me to render it overnight (sometimes multiple nights) and hope it works

Hello, I encountered the following problem: my video card stopped working during rendering, although it was used before. At one point it simply stopped being used. I also tried to enable the video card in After Effects and Media Encoder in the settings. But everything is useless, it also works at 0%. In all other programs the video card works as it should. I tried updating and installing previous drivers for the video card - also to no avail. I was at After Effects 2019, they wrote to me about a problem with the display driver, then I installed the 2021 version of AE, the problem was not solved. My video card is called Radeon RX 570 4GB.
