He went on to be the most important musician to emerge from the Island, ane being awarded the country's Order of Distinction. Ranglin made records from "My Boy Lollipop" to the recent award winning "Search for the Lost Ridim'" A major musicians life is discussed by some of the top players in the field; including Chris Blackwell, Jimmy Cliff, Robbie Krieger, and Wayne Jobson
