I watched the 1970 total eclipse with a bucket of water from the reflexion. This was in Florida. It was a very eerie twilight glow and had an effect on the birds especially. I was fourteen at the time and it was one of those memorable events. The bucket trick produced a great image preventing eye damage.

I use my dads welding helmet glass to safety view it. It's amazing that such a dense level of glass darkness is required for safety and yet the sun illuminates thru with ease

I'm three hours away from the totality zone. We're staying home! We went north three hours for the eclipse in 2017, and although the eclipse was worth it... the traffic was not 😂🤦‍♀️

I was in southwest Missouri in 2017 and watched it safely on the Y Bridge! I’m glad I took photos of the bridge because they turned out awesome!

Please make sure you have enough food water so you don't have to go out on eclipse. Durring Eclipse pregnant women must NOT tear anything, use scissors, sewing machine, knife, blades to prevent things . Durring eclipse avoid going out to garden n outside. Keep curtains closed. PLEASE

Let’s reach out in love and counsel and restore believers deceived by the enemy! This eclipse was not a biblical event, nor was it from the Holy Spirit. Those who taught it was need to repent! Prophesying in the name of the Lord when the Lord has not spoken is a serious sin. Yet our Jesus will restore any who repent!

I went to the point of totality in 2017 and it wound up being cloudy and rainy. All you could tell was that it darkened slightly. That’s usually how most of the astronomical phenomena turn out for me.
