From the premiere airing of Masterpiece's "Much Ado About Nothing" on July 18, 1999.

I bought this VHS tape off of eBay containing PBS, AMC, and of course, Disney Channel.

There are many more commercial breaks on the way coming to this channel soon, stay tuned!

Audio has been remastered for clarity from the original mono audio. The original audio was really low volume and muffled, so I've remastered the audio to my best ability. Perhaps the original owner had recorded this using a cheap VCR w/ dirty heads, who knows?

WXEL was owned by Barry University from the late 1990s until a series of acquisitions that took place between 2006 and 2012. In late 2007, Barry University announced that it would sell the television station to a consortium headed by the owners of WNET at the time (the Educational Broadcasting Corporation). The petition to sell the station was denied by the FCC in late 2008, as such a sale would have caused a public television owner to own two stations in different media markets that are not adjacent to each other, which would have laid the foundation for consolidation of the companies that own PBS stations in major markets. Consolidating the companies is not allowed due to the network's ownership structure. A buyer was finally found in 2012 when a community owned group took control, wich was later merged with WPBT's owners in 2015.
