Instead of trying to predict whether or not we’re going into more recession and keep losing your money, a better strategy is simply having a portfolio that’s well prepared for any eventually, that’s how some folks' been averaging 150K every quarter according to Bloomberg.

This seems like the worst investing period. Started investing recently when the market prices were a bit high, today I am more than 60% down! Hopefully, the markets will go back up.

Sending love to Filipinos suffering from this inflation from the USA. My struggles are small in comparison, but I'm having difficulty finding even dishwashing and janitorial jobs here in Tacoma, WA!

Found a place to live with roommates and paid the full 6-month lease upfront.

That's part 1 of 2 of my "War Strategy of Success" if you will.

Ask yourself this question every day to know if you need to buy or consume onion : "Will I die today if I don't buy or eat my meals with onion?"

Only YOU can tell if you will be SLAVE to the need for onion. It's time to look for alternative food source that are affordable and healthy.

Why blame PBBM the problem of high cost of locally produced onions? And why would the local vegetable farmers ask the government to provide them with cold storage facilities?

Economics is the social science that studies the production, distribution, and consumption of goods and services, and analyzes the choices that individuals, businesses, governments, and nations make to allocate resources.

The law of demand in Economics states that "a thing is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it, not by deceiving the people, but by adding value to the thing." If onions were bought from the local farmers at a price of Php8 per kilo, how is it that vegetable retailers are selling it at Php700 per kilo? It means that they can even raise the price to Php1, 000 per kilo for as long as there are people who are willing to pay for its price. That's preposterous!

Meanwhile, PBBM, just like any state leader with soundness of judgment and business acumen and as the sitting Agriculture Department Secretary, took it upon himself the responsibility of steering the skyrocketing price of onions. Yes, he made a very difficult choice when he recently ordered the importation of onion, which some people perceive as hurting the livelihood of local onion farmers.

Onion is one of the factors of production. As an example of raw material, it contributes to food and income security for producers and all the players in the supply chain. However, if you raise the price of onion as well as the price of other raw materials, that's a sure way to trigger inflation.

If the local vegetable farmers ask from the government for capital resources such as factories, machineries, and chemicals, I might as well ask the same thing for my own business.

As an entrepreneur, I started small, slowly but surely. As the saying goes, "Slow and steady wins the race." I take financial risks to create a product or service that people will buy, but not at the expense of hurting both the pockets of the suppliers and consumers by making a large profit. By doing so, again, it could trigger inflation.

PBBM reserves the right to remain in his post as Agriculture Department Secretary in the interest of the Filipinos and residents in the Philippines, and up to him if and when he could confirm another appointee who can do an equally great job.

Inflation occurs when prices rise because of supply constraints that increase the cost of producing goods and offering services, or because consumers spend their excess cash faster than producers can increase production.

If you really want to fight inflation, don't patronize products and services that are UNREASONABLY expensive, especially if they are UNRECEIPTED!!! Increased labor supply, capital supply, productivity, and personal savings can help reduce inflationary pressures.

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is certainly doing his best to alleviate poverty in the Philippines. We put our trust in him. All his efforts will surely come to fruition in time. ❤🇵🇭
