The Mares X-Tream mask has an ultra-low volume to minimize mask compensation during the dive . Both the minimalist design and a reduced hydrodynamic profile work together to reduce drag in the water. The new ergonomic buckles have also been redesigned for better hydrodynamics.

The distance between lenses and eyes has been reduced, allowing for a large field of view.

Featuring a very minimalist hydrodynamic strap, it also includes an integrated snorkel stop for easy donning and convenient snorkel placement for surface breathing.

I cannot stress how satisfied I am, absolutely recommending this solid built beast. I give it 10/10 in each category: Seals perfectly, very soft and comfortable, field of view is not compromised and even better than my scuba mask, very hydrodynamic and you can't beat its shape, the frame is overmolded so basically you are not going to scratch anything and it will last as the day you purchased it, the head strap buckle has no buttons or springs, so you don't worry about mechanical parts failure. One thing to note: why don't Mares offers it in white color same as the Viper?? It's all about looking cool, don't you remember? 😉🤍
