Everyone's telling you to buy an acoustic guitar, but I have a Furch D-20CM right here. It has a portion of my soul imbued into it, and is in the high-bass to mid range which gives it this very smooth timbre. It has a good semi-acoustic tone too if you equip it with a pickup, thanks to the subdued and rounded harmonic frequencies of the screechy-steely-shrieky high range. Out comes a tone that can either go metal intro, flamenco, folk or Rudyjazz. Unfortunately I'm not offering it to you, and it's a guitar no longer manufactured. But you should find one like it. It likes 10's string gauge, if you're in the D#-E# tuning tension range.
