Southern Blueberry Cobbler | I Heart Recipes

Показать описание
This cobbler can be thrown together and baked in less than an hour! It’s easy, delicious and a real crowd-pleaser. Place the blueberries in a bowl (you can use either frozen or fresh blueberries), and sprinkle them with sugar, lemon juice, nutmeg and cornstarch. I love using nutmeg in my desserts. It’s not overpowering. It just gives it a nice flavor. The lemon juice gives this dessert a nice tang. Mix these ingredients well. Add in the dumplings which are simply made out of store-bought pie crust cut into small squares. Pour the blueberry mixture into a greased baking dish, cover with pie crust and toss into the oven for 40 minutes. That is it, fam! I told you it was easy! Top it off with a dollop of whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. Divine!
