I got a feeling that Piper not having a match between Clash at the Castle and now (not getting a MITB qualifying match nor facing anybody but Bayley) is being done to protect her.

The company's obviously got some big plans for her after the reaction she got at Clash, so the only one they want her losing to right now is the champ-had she been in a MITB qualifying match, she would've either lost it or the ladder match itself.

Piper Niven's moments, her championship glory, her top accolades...all are coming VERY soon on a much bigger stage than this.

And when they come, they'll come because she outwrestled her opponent, NOT because she used the Magic Briefcase.
