It's every parent's worst nightmare. Last week, 18-year-old Millie Taplin joined some friends for her first ever night out, but things took a terrifying turn. After her drink was apparently spiked in a nightclub, Millie lost the ability to walk or speak and was rushed to hospital. In a now viral video released by her mum to highlight the danger of spiking, Millie can be seen writhing in pain, which her family have compared to a scene out of 'The Exorcist'. A week on from this horrifying event, Millie joins us today alongside her older sister Sadie in the hope of warning others.

I’m so glad she made a full recovery, she never deserved to be spiked. Whoever spiked her drink needs to be locked up. Disgraceful.

Why would you want to do this to someone? There are so many evil people out there.

I'm 45 and I've been paranoid about spiking since I first started going out when I was 17. I always used to take my drink to the toilet and people used to make fun out of me. I still do it now. Never leave a drink.

I'm glad she's ok. That must have been so scary.

They should punish people who spike drinks with broken legs.

I got very fortunate. I was sitting at the bar with mirrors behind it and happened to see the guy spike my drink while I was standing there. I was 29 at the time.

The interviewers constantly cut each other off very annoying

I wish the hosts would let the women speak and not interupt them constantly. Bad interviewing. Good on the women to speak about this.

Simple rules. Never accept a drink from someone else and never leave your drink unattended. Order a drink, watch the bar tender make it and hand it to you. Keep it in front of you close. Makes it alot harder.

See, this is what scares me. My 21 year old has Asperger disease. He is so badly won't to go to the bars and party. He said he just wants They life experience. I've been there. I don't think it's all that great.

Actually kind of bizarre that most bars don’t serve drinks in airtight containers. That could help prevent spiking since it would make it markably more difficult.

Same thing happened to me, didn't know what kind of drugs I took, thought it was lsd or maybe it was, I panicked and almost died from an overdose and now my nerves are messed up and still trying to pull together from that experience three years later. I still go out and have fun sometimes but now I stay away from all drugs.
