I'm an expat Canadian who has lived in Adelaide for over 50 years, and I remember way back when the first time I tasted Mitani chicken salt. It was on a charcoal roasted chicken from the local chicken shop. And they also sprinkled it on the chips. My good wife and I inhaled the meal and I wanted to go back for seconds. The best part now is that I live 3 kilometres from the Mitani factory. And Mitani is the original recipe and still the best

Gee no contact to inform you, and you you didn’t get a cent out of promoting the product. It was invented by Peter Brinkworth in the early 1970s, as a seasoning for the roast chickens he sold in his Gawler, South Australia, chicken shop. The Mitani family bought Brinkworth's business in 1979 and, with it, acquired the recipe for chicken salt.
